About Us
UWRF
United Women Re-Entry Foundation is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing resources and training opportunities for formerly incarcerated women. Our sponsors, entrepreneurs, and individuals support our program through donations and participation in our community events.
Program Overview
We strive to provide comprehensive support and guidance in a community where every woman can realize her potential and achieve her aspirations after incarceration. The incarceration period prevents justice impacted individuals from gaining marketable work experience and severing professional connections and social contacts that could lead to legal employment upon release.
United Women Reentry Foundation offers resources through two programs . Programs offered are S.T.A.R. and R.I.S.E.
Successful Transition and Reentry Series
The S.T.A.R.S. Program (Successful Transition and Reentry Series) provides structured support for women transitioning back into the community. The program focuses on stabilization, employment readiness, mental wellness, and overdose prevention.
Resilience Inspiration Support Empowerment Program
The (R.I.S.E) Resilience, Inspiration, Support, Empowerment program offered through United Women Reentry Foundation will focus on preparing the participants to excel in entrepreneurship and career opportunities.
